The Office for Economic & Community Development (OECD) serves as an economic development portal to connect HSU expertise and resources to opportunities for fostering Responsible Economic Development in the North Coast region of California. We are here to facilitate HSU"S work with community and business leaders.
Our vision for responsible economic development recognizes that the region's economy and quality of life are linked to the vitality of our distinctive rural communities, the integrity of our natural environment, and the success of our business enterprises. The OECD mission is to improve the standard of living for all residents of the North Coast.

Services Offered

Through collaborative project planning and development, applied research, technical assistance and training, public forums, and information dissemination, this office brings together local business and community leaders, economic development professionals with HSU faculty, staff and students to address the economic development challenges of the North Coast.
